The main areas of interest

The fellow will be involved in the ward and surgical activities. He/she will take part in MDTs actively. The fellow will be encouraged to engage the research programs currently running. Based on the fellow’s log-book and experience the consultants will tutor progressively the steps of different surgical procedures, especially MIS for urological reconstructions. The fellow will be always under the direct supervision of the tutor or one of the consultants. The fellows will not be asked to prescribe medications or fill in patients' notes, as the aim of their stay will focus on surgical activities. The Paed Urology Department offers a daily surgical activity, including both routine and complex cases. The aims and expectations have to be discussed with the tutor at the beginning of the fellowship and will be based also on the fellowship duration. Essential surgical targets could be:
