6-12 weeks curriculum Fellows will be helped in the registration to the University and in obtaining the documents for their stay. An initial meeting will be scheduled with the research group in order to discuss the aims of the training. A detailed plan will then be established with realistic time-points deadlines. Fellows will be introduced to the ongoing lab projects and will be trained to perform all the laboratory techniques and practices, with particular attention to the safety of the working environment. After a 4-weeks period of supervision by a Post-Doc fellow of the research team, the student will be able to work independently. Finally, the participant will be able to interact with the other members of the laboratory to discuss possible aspects of the general functioning of the lab work or specific protocols that require clarification and will be instructed on how to analyze and interpret the generated data. A weekly meeting will be organized to discuss on the results achieved and to plan further experiments. Participants will be allowed to attend other academic activities within the department such as conferences, meetings, as well as specific courses. Participants will also be encouraged to present their work to the research group meeting several times before completing the exchange period. The results will be included in project reports and, hopefully, in papers, which will include the participants in the authors list.
