Risk stratification (two-step multifactorial electrophysiology inclusive approach for ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy patients)
Syncope (unexplained) work up
Arrhythmia study mechanism
Phantom tachycardia study
Device therapy (cases per month):
Implantation of pacemaker, defibrillators, CRT-D, CRT-P (n=100)
Device (VVI, DDD, ICD, CRT) interrogation-programming at follow up (n=350)
Device upgrading
Device extraction
Ablation therapy:
Cryoballoon PVI for paroxysmal and permanent atrial fibrillation
SVT (all types) ablation using conventional and electroanatomical mapping techniques
PVC, VT, VT storm ablation using electroanatomical techniques

Curriculum

4-12 week curriculum

The fellow will be fully introduced in the daily activities of our EP group (both non-invasive and invasive). She/he can participate in the first department of cardiology conferences on a weekly basis. The fellow will be encouraged to engage under my supervision and the assistance of other members of our group in both non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures. The fellow will also be encouraged to participate in different ongoing research activities of our group. Taken into account the above, the fellow will be exposed to a significant amount of clinicolaboratory information in the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

This program allows Merit Applications. This program allows merit-based applications for virtual and onsite clinical and research programs. If you are successfully awarded under this category, Trialect or the host mentor will cover the tuition fee only. All applications will be evaluated based on merit. Due to the high level of competition, the chances of being selected under the merit category are quite limited.
