This course aims to update their knowledge on high patient doses through recurrent imaging, an issue
that has been gaining momentum currently leading to attention of national and international
organizations.
Module 2: Management of patient radiation doses in interventional procedures using fluoroscopy
In this course, one can learn from the experience gained over the past 10 years on studying patients
who underwent fluoroscopic guided interventions (FGI) and the reduction in patients with high doses
achieved.
Module 3: Diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) in computed tomographic examinations
In this course, one can learn what, how, how much and when about DRLs, its limitations and potential
solutions
Module 4: Technical innovations on monochromatic X-ray source for imaging
In this course, one will learn the new development of a monochromatic x-ray source that can potentially
replace the century-old technology of x-rays that produces polychromatic x-rays.
Module 5: Avoidance of skin injuries in fluoroscopic examinations
In this course, one can learn about the requirements under State regulations, national and international
