1. Diagnostic hysteroscopy:

Endometritis (inflammation of the endometrium) -

2. Surgical hysteroscopy:

polypectomy
Myomectomy

3. 3D Laparoscopy

Adnexal pathologies:
Enucleation of ovarian or tubal cysts
Enucleation of paraovaric or paratubaric cysts
Conservative removal of extrauterine pregnancy
Excision of ovarian fibromas
Lysis of peri-ovarian or peri-tubaric adhesions
Treatment of hydro-sactosalpinx for PID
Drainage or removal of the tube-ovarian abscess
Ovariectomy – Salpingectomy - Salpingectomy for extrauterine pregnancy - Oophorectomy

Pelvic floor defects:
Colposuspension according to Burch (suspension of the endopelvic fascia at the level of the bladder neck to the iliopectinous ligament).

Curriculum

4-12 weeks curriculum

Fellows will be supported to settle down into their new environment (find appropriate accommodation, locate amenities, etc.). We will arrange an initial meeting with the fellow to discuss the objectives of the training. The fellow will be fully trained to all activities of the Department. They will be able to engage with the supervisor and other members of the group in different surgical procedures. The fellow will be given opportunity to partake in other academic activities, including attending workshops, conferences, e.t.c. All throughout the training any peculiar challenges or specific requests of a fellow will be fully considered to ensure a responsive, relevant and adequate training plan is developed for them.

This program allows Merit Applications. This program allows merit-based applications for virtual and onsite clinical and research programs. If you are successfully awarded under this category, Trialect or the host mentor will cover the tuition fee only. All applications will be evaluated based on merit. Due to the high level of competition, the chances of being selected under the merit category are quite limited.

Great experience. The staff were generally friendly and supportive. I was given access to the theatre to observe live surgeries with detailed step - by - step explanation on procedures. Each question and concern raised was adequately addressed. Great variety of gynaecological surgeries observed, including endometriosis surgeries, oncological surgeries as well as urogynaecologic surgeries. Measures must be put in place to allow external fellows hands-on experience. I am grateful to TRIALECT for the opportunity. This has really provided a good basis for my interest and training in laparoscopic surgery.

Probably it could be more practical. It would be great if the participants could assist surgeries. Everything was just perfect. The members of team of Prof. Malzoni are professionals, they just want to feel yourself always well and they tried to answer all the questions what I posed.
