This year, Helse Nord RHF is also announcing funding for researchers who will prepare applications for external funding sources. There is a rolling application deadline, and applications are processed as they come in. The deadline for applying this year is October 9, 2025.

Applications for up to 250,000 can be made for free purchase and/or operation to prepare applications to external funding sources.

Eligibility Requirements

Helse Nord RHF offers project establishment support to researchers aiming to apply for external funding sources. To be eligible for this support, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Employment: The applicant must hold a primary position within a health trust in Helse Nord or at the Centre for Clinical Documentation and Evaluation (SKDE).

Academic Qualification: Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree.

Research Environment: The applicant must be part of a research environment with the potential to succeed in external competitions. The application should clearly demonstrate the research environment and both national and international networks.

Application Process: Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, with a response time of approximately five weeks. The final deadline for submission is October 9, 2025.
