The board of the Carl Tryggers Foundation receives conference applications twice a year, with deadlines in April and September. The foundation has the opportunity to provide financial support to organizers of conferences included in international series, scientific symposia or summer schools for doctoral students and younger researchers.
A grant from the foundation can amount to between SEK 50,000 and SEK 200,000. An overhead surcharge of 11% is added to the amount applied for. In certain cases, where an established organization, such as a scientific society, is the organizer, the grant can be given as a special grant without an overhead surcharge.
The application can be made in Swedish or English.
The application must be made digitally here on the website.
When the digital grant application is submitted (completed), you will receive a confirmation by email, where the application form is attached. This must be printed and signed by the applicant and the department head/administrative manager. The signed form is then uploaded to the foundation's website no later than 10 days from the end of the application period. A signed form is required for an approved application.
Completed application form with a popular science-based project summary. The application must be supplemented with the following documents, which are uploaded as separate and clearly named documents.
