Junior, Advanced, and Physician-Scientist Research Grants offer €50K–€80K/year for 3 years—choose based on post-PhD experience (4–8 years, or with life-event extension) .
Innovation Grants support translational and collaborative consortia (€300K total, ≥3 PIs from ≥3 countries, including at least one junior member and one from eligible Eastern European nation) .
Bilateral Collaborative and Kick-Off Grants offer targeted funding for early-stage hypothesis-driven projects and international lab pairings .
Your research must be basic or translational (lab-based or connected to clinical trials) in hematology—not purely clinical or health economics .
Innovation Grants require high‑risk, high‑gain objectives with clear deliverables leading to larger EU funding .
Innovation Grants must include a strong multinational team (≥3 PIs) with demonstrated complementary expertise .
Review panels judge both project merit (significance, novelty, methods, environment, feasibility) and investigator strength (track record, collaboration ability) .
