Techniques You Will Learn

The increasing competency in scientific publication and the need to produce
methodologically sound studies is especially relevant in the medical specialties of
Anesthesiology and Intensive care medicine.

In the proposed residential course, to be accomplished with a 1 to 12 weeks stay in
Sapienza University, the fellows will familiarize themselves with basic principles of literature search,
structural requirements of medical literature –with a specific highlight in the production of
anesthesiology and intensive care settings- and a variety of international contacts through
online meetings.

Prof Bilotta has a specific experience in the field, being the author of more than 250 papers
(including original randomized trials, observational studies, systematic reviews and
international guidelines), and serving as a reviewer or editorial board member of several
international and peer-reviewed journal. He also participated in courses launched by some
international universities dedicated to teaching and scientific writing (including the Albert
Einstein University in New York and Yale University in the USA, Valencia University in Spain,
the Burdenka Institute in Russia, etc.) and served two mandates in the Mentorship program
on scientific writing of the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.

This program allows Merit Applications. This program allows merit-based applications for virtual and onsite clinical and research programs. If you are successfully awarded under this category, Trialect or the host mentor will cover the tuition fee only. All applications will be evaluated based on merit. Due to the high level of competition, the chances of being selected under the merit category are quite limited.
