Our main domain of expertise is Knee Arthroplasty and especially Uni-Knee Arthroplasty, Knee biomechanics, and Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery. We also have a great deal of experience in Hip Arthroplasty (Direct Anterior Approach) and ERP Surgery. During his round, the fellow will also deal with casual trauma and sport surgery. The Fellowship will take place in Saint-George Private Hospital in Nice (France), frequently ranked as one of the best private hospital in the country. With more than 350 beds (MCO), 100 beds of rehab, an emergency department and 18 OR, we are the first private hospital of our area.

Techniques You Will Learn

The orthopaedic department is composed by 9 senior orthopaedic surgeons (6 full time), 5 spine surgeons (full time) and 5 hand surgeons. Our clinical activity is mainly focused on:

hip and knee arthroplasty (mini-Moore and DAA/Hueter approach, UniKnee and Total Knee, CAOS and PSI)
Knee Sport Surgery (arthroscopy, meniscal repair, ACL recon and repair)
Traumatology (casual)

This program allows Merit Applications. If you successfully are awarded a merit application - Trialect will take care of all bench and service fees, but you will have to take care of travel and accommodation. All applications will be scrutinized under the merit category. Considering 50 million health professionals around the world, the chances of getting selected under the merit category would be very low.

I want to perform knee arthroplasty, how much operation activity do I get. Should I just stand behind back table and look at the operation felt or do I get the operation of course under supervision.

Please go through the details of the program posting. Hand-on program is your ability to closely assess and understand day-to-day activities of the patients under the host mentor’s guidance. You are not allowed to independently manage the patients without the host mentor’s approval.
