Curriculum

Fellows will receive comprehensive support to facilitate their transition into the new environment. Assistance will be provided to help them secure suitable accommodation and locate essential amenities. Upon arrival, fellows will be assigned desk space and will undergo a thorough induction program. This program will cover safety protocols, laboratory practices, and personal welfare, and will be conducted by designated staff from the university as well as myself.

An initial meeting will be arranged with each fellow to outline and discuss the training objectives. Fellows will receive extensive training encompassing all departmental activities. This will enable them to work closely with me, their supervisor, and other team members on diagnostic procedures. Additionally, they will have opportunities to engage in clinical research and, depending on their interests, to author a manuscript during their fellowship.

Fellows are encouraged to actively participate in group meetings and other academic endeavors within the School and the University. This includes attending workshops and conferences. They will also have opportunities to present their research findings orally at least once in a group meeting before the conclusion of their stay.

As the fellowship nears completion, I will meet with the fellows to discuss potential plans for publishing their clinical work, provided sufficient data has been collected, or to strategize for the dissemination of their findings at upcoming conferences.

Throughout the duration of the training, we will pay close attention to any specific challenges or requests from the fellows to ensure that a responsive, relevant, and comprehensive training plan is in place.

This program allows Merit Applications. This program allows merit-based applications for virtual and onsite clinical and research programs. If you are successfully awarded under this category, Trialect or the host mentor will cover the tuition fee only. All applications will be evaluated based on merit. Due to the high level of competition, the chances of being selected under the merit category are quite limited.
