4-week curriculum
The goal of the training course is to educate the selected fellows in the most advanced lab practice applied to experimental embryology and cell biology. To those fellows who are new to the field, this course will improve their skills and allow them to increase their autonomous working capability and critical attitude. The fellow will be supported to settle down into the laboratory and they will be instructed about safety, laboratory practices, personal welfare, etc.) by the laboratory's staff. The first day a meeting will be arranged with the fellow to discuss all the aspects and objectives of the training and how they will be pursued. After this introduction period to the lab procedures, the fellow will be trained to all different activities which are ongoing in the laboratory under the supervision of the research staff. As soon as he will become self confident with the technical procedures he will be stimulated to perform his own experiments and encouraged to achieve his own results.
The fellow will be allowed to participate to the group meeting which is held weekly, to the seminars of the School of Doctorate and to all the academic activities within University, including workshops, conferences, etc. At the end of his stay, the fellow will have the opportunity to present his work as a seminar in a lab meeting session.
