Our medical grants focus on outpatient plastic surgeries, particularly ear surgeries like otoplasty, macrotia correction, lobuloplasty, and facial surgeries including blepharoplasty and mini-facelifts. We specialize in thoracic surgeries such as mastopexy and breast augmentation, as well as women's intimate surgeries like labioplasty. Trainees will learn advanced surgical techniques, including optimized otoplasty and high-performance blepharoplasty, with opportunities for hands-on experience and academic involvement. The curriculum spans 4-12 weeks, covering safety protocols, laboratory practices, and personal welfare. Trainees will engage with department activities, contribute to manuscripts, attend academic events, and receive guidance on publication or conference presentations. Customized training plans ensure a tailored learning experience for each fellow.

After the initial meeting to understand the objectives of the visiting program, the trainee will go through a formal induction process (safety, laboratory practices, personal welfare). The fellow will be asked to submit immigration documents, travel, health, and liability insurance for review.
The fellows will be fully appraised of all activities of the Department and will interact and closely work with the group members. Depending on their interest and the duration of their stay, they can contribute to a manuscript.
The fellow can attend group meetings and other academic activities within the School and the University, including workshops, conferences, etc. They will also be encouraged to give an oral presentation of their work at a group meeting at least once before completing their visit.
Towards the end of the training, I will meet with the fellow to discuss plans to publish their work (if enough data is collected) or disseminate their findings at a future conference.
Throughout the training, any particular challenges or requests of a fellow will be fully considered to ensure a responsive, relevant, and adequate training plan is developed for them.
