Program Structure and Curriculum:
Orientation and Induction: An initial meeting will be held to outline objectives, followed by a comprehensive induction covering safety and practices.
Hands-on Training and Patient Management:
- Due to regulatory and ethical standards, hands-on training in the operating theater is limited. Fellows will primarily engage in observational learning with minimal assistance (subject to institutional approval).
- Independent patient management by fellows in the absence of supervising surgeons is not permitted. This ensures adherence to high standards of patient care and safety.
Academic Engagement: Participate in group meetings and attend workshops and conferences within the hospital and/or during the fellowship where the department is involved.
Presentation Opportunities: Present your work at a group meeting and discuss potential publication or conference paper in collaboration with the department.
Tailored Training Plan: Personal challenges and requests are considered to ensure a responsive and relevant training experience.
Accommodation and Transportation: We will provide appropriate information for accommodation and transportation to the Hospital.

This program allows Merit Applications. This program allows merit-based applications for virtual and onsite clinical and research programs. If you are successfully awarded under this category, Trialect or the host mentor will cover the tuition fee only. All applications will be evaluated based on merit. Due to the high level of competition, the chances of being selected under the merit category are quite limited.
