The Organisation Transformation Grant (OTG) aims to encourage and support heritage businesses and organisations to adopt transformative and/or innovative projects that will contribute to the sustainability and long-term viability of their business.
WHAT DOES THE GRANT SUPPORT
The grant provides up to $40,000 for transformation efforts projects in the following categories which can address the unique challenges faced by individual businesses.
Products & Services | Developing new market opportunities and revenue streams such as Introduction of new or rebranded line of products Transformation of product offerings and services Innovative showcase of new and improved business strategies |
People | Enhancing the business or organisation performance through the initiatives that include Redesign of job roles and upskilling of personnel to embark on new business opportunities Improvement to manpower productivity and efficiency Transmission of skills related to the heritage aspects of the trade |
Process & Systems | Developing processes and systems to enhance productivity and introduce innovative methods to improve the business that include Adoption of technology to improve product and service efficiency Automation of manual processes of the business to improve manpower efficiency Introduction of digital tools and platforms to improve business opportunities and visitor experience |
HOW AND WHEN TO APPLY
To apply, please visit OurSG Grants Portal and ensure that you have a valid Singpass/Corppass. Applications are only accepted via OurSG Grants Portal.
Note: Organisations must apply via OurSG Grants Portal using a valid Corppass account. Applicants applying for an Organisation using a Singpass account will not be accepted.
The form will need to be accompanied by the Project Proposal and Budget Proposal.
The grant is open for application twice a year. All applications much reach us on the closing date by 2359h. Late applications will not be accepted. The table below lists the key dates and windows for application:

Successful applicants must sign and return the Acceptance of Offer to NHB within two (2) weeks from the date of Letter of Offer. All results are final.
The grant is open to heritage organisations and businesses (profit or non-profit) registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or with the Registry of Societies.
Examples of heritage businesses and organisation include those involved in (one or more of) the following categories:
The creation, production and/or retail of traditional craft products and provision of related services
The creation, production and/or retail of traditional food items and provision of related services
The creation, production and/or retail of products, experiences or services linked to cultural heritage practices listed on Singapore’s Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage
Businesses and organisations that have a proven track record in the contribution to the cultural identity of a neighbourhood or cultural precinct that they are located in
Businesses and organisations that aim to revive or re-introduce heritage products and services that was historically found in neighbourhoods or cultural precincts
