NOTE: This is a Forecasted Opportunity.
The NOFO aims to implement and sustain a comprehensive response to HIV/TB and strengthen the capacity of regional authorities in the United Republic of Tanzania under PEPFAR. This will be achieved by improving service delivery models and by strengthening all health systems while sustaining achieved gains and expanding the HIV/TB response. Additionally, through transformative partnerships, the management, oversight, reporting, and funding of health facilities (HF) and activities previously supported by PEPFAR will build capacity of local government in implementing and sustaining a comprehensive response to HIV/TB.To identify gaps, address health equity, improve programmatic delivery, and make informed evidence-based decisions, outlined activities are expected to support administrative regions in the development, adaptation, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools while streamlining activities and funding to facilitate and optimize HIV/TB service coordination across different stakeholders throughout each administrative region. The overarching goals of this NOFO are to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV in Tanzania, including key and vulnerable populations, and to reach and maintain UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets for all populations in Tanzania.
