This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications that propose to support advanced-stage development and utilization of novel research infrastructure to advance the science of aging in specific areas requiring interdisciplinary partnerships or collaborations.
This FOA utilizes NIH’s R33 Exploratory/Developmental Grants Phase II activity code to provide support for expanded activities. Applicants are expected to have an existing research infrastructure developed with other NIH or non-NIH support.
Through this award, investigators will endeavor to develop a mature and sustainable research infrastructure to support projects that address key interdisciplinary aging research questions.
