The call for projects "For more accessible leisure activities for people with a visual impairment" aims to support actors in the sports, leisure, cultural, social and disabled sectors who want to promote access to inclusive leisure activities for people with a visual impairment. This can be done through an adapted reception, the introduction of new guidance and coaching practices, the enrichment of the offer with modules that are accessible to people with a visual impairment, the adaptation of the physical environment, making the offer financially accessible, etc.
Particular attention will be paid to projects aimed at improving the digital accessibility of the organisation's website and/or other communication tools.
Facilitating and encouraging the participation of visually impaired people in society must be central to the supported projects. Partnerships between organisations in the disability sector and organisations in the leisure sector in the broad sense of the word will be given priority.
The call is supported by 18 different Funds, all active in supporting people with a visual impairment. These Funds have pooled their resources to provide stronger support to the actors in the field.
