Explore applications of psychology and the development of the field across the world with APA’s International Learning Partner Program (ILPP).
Tentative program dates: January 17-27, 2026
Apply for the opportunity to gain unique insights into psychology and mental health care in Indonesia while developing meaningful professional connections with colleagues abroad. Delegates will meet with leaders in the field and engage in professional visits to local associations.
A $500 per person deposit is required for your application to be considered complete and your name added to the participant list. This deposit is nonrefundable except in the case of cancellation by APA or due to U.S. regulations. If the trip does not go forward, the full deposit will be refunded or applied to another ILPP trip at the participants’ request. APA does not offer financial assistance or payment plans for International Learning Partner Programs.
The estimated cost per person is $5000.
What is included
Meals and accommodations as outlined in the itinerary; ground transportation within the itinerary; all sightseeing and tour entrance fees within the itinerary. All delegates will have their own single rooms.
What is not included
Airfare; passport, airport or baggage fees; trip insurance; meals marked "not included" in the itinerary; food and beverages that are not part of the included meals; personal items or expenses such as room service, laundry service, etc.; alcoholic beverages; gratuities; expenses resulting from delays due to weather, sickness, government action, flight delays.
Participants are expected to attend all scheduled activities in the itinerary. Priority will be given to APA members (any type). If you intend to travel with a companion, an application and deposit must be submitted for each traveler. All participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applications will go live in fall 2025.
